 Credit RiskThis paper investigates new dimensions in the demand for trade credit in the UK. Based on a unique dataset we are able to measure both the level and the depth of trade credit. We realise this by considering six different metrics for trade credit. We focus on the most prominent theories of trade credit, which is thus modelled as a function of financing, transaction cost, operating cost, and business environment.
